When an African girl and a Cretan guy decide to open a hostel, Kumba happens! We created Kumba with the idea of integrating the African and Cretan cultures into one, world friendly Hostel.
We are located in the heart of Chania, where you can enjoy the old city vibes on a budget. Only 1,2 km from the Venetian Harbour and 500m from Koum Kapi beach. With a bus stop just outside our door step it’s easy to get around and see what Chania has to offer.
We offer 5 dormitories, 6 private rooms and a cafe bar that has the best coffee around! All rooms are uniquely designed to maximise comfort and to ensure our friends have everything they need. We also have a shared kitchen.
Cancellation policy: 7 days before arrival.
Check in from 15:00 to 23:00.
Check out from 07:00 to 12:00.

Payments are made upon arrival by cash, credit or debit cards. We may also pre-authorise your card before arrival.
